Abstract
Representatives of five new yeast species,Torulopsis dendrica, Torulopsis philyla, Torulopsis silvatica, Torulopsis insectalens andTorulopsis nemodendra, have been recovered from material from Cerambycid, Platypid and Scolytid beetle infestation in indigenous trees in Natal and the Cape Province in South Africa.
