Five new cembrane diterpenoids from the South China Sea soft coral Sinularia flexibilis

Abstract

Five new cembrane diterpenoids (1–5), together with eleven known diterpenoids (6–16), were isolated from the South China Sea soft coral Sinularia flexibilis. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic data analysis (1D and 2D NMR and MS). In addition, the isolates were examined for their ability to inhibit the LPS-induced NO and TNF-α production in the macrophage-like RAW264.7 cells.
