Abstract

The meteoric rise of e-mail is quickly surpassing all other forms of communication within the workplace today. But progress does come at a price. The ability of e-mail to enhance productivity also opens the door to breaches in security and a host of problems such as the threat of lawsuits, computer downtime, loss or theft of business- critical information, and loss of employee time spent on personal e-mail.
