Abstract

Abstract Four fission-track ages have been determined on glass shards from tephras of the Castlecliffian sequence at Cape Kidnappers. They are 0.85 ± 0.10 m.y. (the Kidnapper Tuff), 0.47 ± 0.09 m.y. (uppermost Mt Gordon Beds), 0.36 ± 0.08 m.y. (top of the Rabbit Gully Beds), and 0.32 ± 0.07 m.y. (base of the Trig. N Beds).
