Abstract

The structure of new nickel(II) complex of macrocyclic tetraamine, 1,8-bis(N,N-dimethylcarbamoylethyl)-1,5,8,12 -tetramethyl-1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetra-decane have been determined by X-ray diffraction, and the crystal contained two diastereomers: one of the configuration of the title complex adopted the most stable trans-III structure, and another one adopted extremely rare trans-IV structure.
