Abstract
In this study the fall armyworm Spodoptera frugiperda Smith &Abbot, 1797 (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) was report for the first time in corn crop in Iraqi fauna. A short morphological description is also presented the larvae and adults were described, the symptoms of infestation recoded.
