Abstract

Belladessus Miller and Short, 2015 is reported from Brazil for the first time. Two new species in the genus are described: Belladessus espinhasso, new species is described from the state of Minas Gerais, while Belladessus minutopunctatus, new species is described from the Federal District. Belladessus femineus Miller and Short, 2015 is reported from the northern Brazilian state of Roraima. The new species were collected in the Brazilian Shield, expanding the geographic distribution of the genus that until now was limited to the Andean and the Guiana Shield regions of South America.
