First records of Pteroxanium marrisi n.sp. and Haplophallus maculatus (Tillyard) for the Chatham Islands and list of Psocoptera from the subantarctic islands of New Zealand

Abstract

Pteroxanium marrisi sp. n.(Psocoptera: Lepidopsocidae), the first psocopteran to be recorded from Star Keys Island, (Chatham Islands) is described.There is a table providing known distributions of the twelve species of Psocoptera so far recorded from New Zealand's subantarctic islands.
