Abstract
We provide the description of the so far unknown female of Arrenurus munovus Cook 1980 as well as additional morphological data for the male. This is the first record of the species since its description from Southern Mexico and is extending the known distribution about 370 km east to the south-eastern of the peninsula de Yucatan. This is the first record of an Arrenurus species from Belize, as well as the first species level data on the Belizean freshwater mite fauna.
