Abstract
The dinoflagellate Prorocentrum panamense is reported for the first time on the Pacific coast of Mexico. Ten cells of P. panamense were found in network samples from surface waters in three islands of the Revillagigedo Archipelago where samples were collected in March 2017. The sampling sites They had a depth of approximately 60-70 m and the surface temperature of the water was between 21 and 23 ºC.
