Abstract
Rhabdochona ( Rhabdochona ) longispicula Belous in Roytman, 1963 was detected from the intestine of the fish host Glyptothorax kurdistanicus from Greater Zab River near Aski-Kalak district, west of Erbil City during the period of May- July 2016 with prevalence of infection 17.39 % and mean intensity 3. This conistitutes the first record of this parasite in Iraq and Middle East. Also, G. kurdistanicus regarded as a new host for this nematode in the world.
