Abstract

ABSTRACTFirst Person is a series of interviews with the first authors of a selection of papers published in Disease Models & Mechanisms, helping early-career researchers promote themselves alongside their papers. Sarah Alghamdi is first author on ‘ Contribution of model organism phenotypes to the computational identification of human disease genes’, published in DMM. Sarah is a PhD student in the lab of Robert Hoehndorf at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, Thuwal, Saudi Arabia, investigating artificial intelligence, specifically knowledge representation and reasoning over biomedical data.
