Abstract

ABSTRACT First Person is a series of interviews with the first authors of a selection of papers published in Disease Models & Mechanisms, helping researchers promote themselves alongside their papers. Marco Travaglio is first author on ‘ Increased cysteine metabolism in PINK1 models of Parkinson's disease’, published in DMM. Marco is a PhD student at the University of Cambridge in the lab of Luis Miguel Martins at the MRC Toxicology Unit in Cambridge (UK), and interested in developing novel therapeutic targets for Parkinson's disease.
