Abstract
ABSTRACT First Person is a series of interviews with the first authors of a selection of papers published in Journal of Cell Science, helping early-career researchers promote themselves alongside their papers. Lingling Zhao is first author on ‘ FLCN is a novel Rab11A-interacting protein that is involved in the Rab11A-mediated recycling transport’, published in Journal of Cell Science. Lingling is a PhD candidate in the lab of Wei Liu at the College of Veterinary Medicine, Northwest A&F University, Yangling, China, investigating the role of the Birt–Hogg–Dubé (BHD) syndrome protein FLCN in vesicular transport.
