Abstract
ABSTRACT First Person is a series of interviews with the first authors of a selection of papers published in Journal of Cell Science, helping researchers promote themselves alongside their papers. Jessica Kehrer is first author on ‘ Clearing of hemozoin crystals in malaria parasites enables whole-cell STED microscopy’, published in JCS. Jessica is a PhD student in the lab of Friedrich Frischknecht at Heidelberg University Medical School, Germany, investigating malaria parasites using different microscopy and cell biology methods.
