Abstract
ABSTRACT First Person is a series of interviews with the first authors of a selection of papers published in Journal of Cell Science, helping early-career researchers promote themselves alongside their papers. Gina Monzon is co-first author on ‘Activation of mammalian cytoplasmic dynein in multimotor motility assays’, published in Journal of Cell Science. Gina is a PhD student in the lab of Ludger Santen at Saarland University, Saarbrücken, Germany, studying theoretical modelling of intracellular microtubule-associated transport by kinesin and dynein motor proteins.
