Abstract

ABSTRACT First Person is a series of interviews with the first authors of a selection of papers published in Disease Models & Mechanisms, helping researchers promote themselves alongside their papers. Fen van Rhijn-Brouwer is first author on ‘ Systematic review and meta-analysis of the effect of bone marrow-derived cell therapies on hind limb perfusion’, published in DMM. Fen is a PhD candidate in the lab of Marianne Verhaar at the University Medical Center Utrecht, The Netherlands, investigating how to use cell-based regenerative medicine strategies to treat vascular inflammation.
