First person – Chia-Li Liao

Abstract

ABSTRACT First Person is a series of interviews with the first authors of a selection of papers published in Journal of Cell Science, helping early-career researchers promote themselves alongside their papers. Chia-Li Liao is first author on ‘ Unveiling a novel serpinB2-tripeptidyl peptidase II signaling axis during senescence’, published in JCS. Chia-Li is a PhD student in the lab of Jing-Jer Lin, Institute of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, National Taiwan University, investigating the molecular mechanisms of size-scaling between cells and organelles during senescence.
