Abstract

ABSTRACT First Person is a series of interviews with the first authors of a selection of papers published in Biology Open, helping early-career researchers promote themselves alongside their papers. Alexandra Lubin is first author on ‘ A versatile, automated and high-throughput drug screening platform for zebrafish embryos’, published in BiO. Alexandra is a postdoctoral research associate in the lab of Elspeth Payne at University College London (UCL), London, UK, investigating high-throughput automated drug screening in live zebrafish to discover novel therapeutics for myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) and acute myeloid leukaemia (AML).
