First estimate of axial-vector meson emitting weak nonleptonic decays of charm baryons based on the factorization scheme

Abstract

We investigate the weak nonleptonic decays of ${\ensuremath{\Lambda}}_{c}^{+}$, ${\ensuremath{\Xi}}_{c}^{+}$, and ${\ensuremath{\Xi}}_{c}^{0}$ into the octet baryons (${J}^{P}=1/{2}^{+}$) and axial-vector mesons (${J}^{P}={1}^{+}$) employing the factorization scheme and predict their branching ratios and asymmetry parameters.
