Abstract
A trap to capture koalas, which can be deployed by one person, has been successfully trialed in an open forest in south-east Queensland. Nine adult koalas were captured in two trapping periods in 1993 and 1994. The use of this trap can increase the effectiveness of the capture of koalas for ecological studies.
