Abstract

Pediatric airway management is one of the most important and challenging skill sets for the Emergency Medicine physician. Previous studies have suggested that video laryngoscopy may take longer and have lower success rates in pediatric patients. This study evaluated first-attempt intubation success rate using direct laryngoscopy versus standard blade video laryngoscopy in small infants.
