Abstract
Access and egress trips to and from public transport play a crucial role in determining mobility patterns and mode choice. In order to promote more sustainable forms of urban transport, and in particular public transport instead of private motorised vehicles for longer journeys, it is vital to focus on seamless and attractive options when accessing and egressing public transport. This analysis focuses on determining pre-covid19 mobility patterns and user experiences in the Greater Dublin Area to understand issues and possible drivers for mode shifts to more sustainable alternatives away from private cars.
