Abstract
In current technological age smart machines for automatic job done has been a great breakthrough in smart city. This paper depicts A Fire Alarm system design by means of color model and edge detection procedure and IOT (Internet of Things) service. In general populated localities like market fire disaster is frequent and most of the time it causes loss of human recourses and properties. Installing fire sensors in each of the part of the market will be difficult, quite costly and not very efficient especially due to environmental obstacle. As an alternative, digital camera can be used for covering area in the market. Digital Cameras will capture the images constantly with 3600 coverage. In case of any fire hazard the content will be detected in the image by the connected programmed Microcontroller and automatically alarm will be generated and message will be sent to the fire control department and the microcontroller in fire department will receive the signal. Previous data of such fire disaster should be fed into the system for possible comparison and pattern matching during training and learning of the system. This system is cost effective and useful in public places. The same system can be used for accident prone areas also for sending information to nearest hospitals for effective remedy of disaster.
