Abstract

Hypereosinophilic syndrome (HES) is a rare cause of recurrent ischemic stroke and the underlying pathogenesis is heterogeneous. Herein, we describe a gentleman presenting with recurrent strokes due to idiopathic HES for 3 years, with a dramatic response to Imatinib.
