Abstract

This paper studies the finite-time non-fragile guaranteed cost control problem for Lipschitz nonlinear systems with uncertainties and time-delays via observer-based state feedback. The nonlinear parameter is considered to satisfy the Lipschitz condition, and the external disturbance is assumed to be energy bounded. Based on the selected Lyapunov function, the non-fragile state feedback observer-based guaranteed cost controller is constructed to derive a sufficient condition such that the closed-loop error dynamic system is said to be finite-time bounded (FTB) and satisfies the given guaranteed cost upper bound. Then, using linear matrix inequality (LMIs) techniques, the problem of non-fragile guaranteed cost controller and observer is solved. Finally, a numerical example is given to illustrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.
