Abstract

This paper is concerned with the finite-time fault diagnosis problem of nonlinear state-feedback control systems with uncertain parameters modeled by a T-S fuzzy model with uncertain membership functions. To begin with, a general actuator fault model which takes bias faults and gain faults into consideration is built. Based on the acquired bounds knowledge of uncertain membership functions and fault signals, fault detection and isolation (FDI) observers combined with the switching technique are designed such that the faulty actuator can be finally positioned in finite time. A numerical example is finally presented for demonstrating the applicability of the FDI scheme.
