Abstract

AbstractThe synchronization of multi‐layer networks can greatly improve production and life efficiency, thus having important research significance. In this article, the finite‐time pinning synchronization control strategy is investigated for multi‐layer networks. A new finite‐time pinning controller, which not only considers the intra‐layer coupling connection, but also the inter‐layer coupling connection, is designed. The pinning synchronization criteria for the multi‐layer networks is established based on the finite‐time control protocols. Additionally, the corresponding convergence analysis are also provided. Finally, the effectiveness of the obtained theoretical results is illustrated using three comparison methods in a two‐layer network.
