Abstract

This paper is concerned with the finite-time H∞ control problems for T–S fuzzy singular systems. The interval type-2 fuzzy model is considered to better express the uncertainties in the membership functions. Based on the operating space partition and scale variation of membership functions, the fuzzy system is transformed into a switched one. A switched fuzzy controller which has linear membership functions is designed. By means of the singular value decomposition of singular systems, the fuzzy Lyapunov functions and the information of the linear membership functions, relaxed criteria are obtained to guarantee that the closed-loop systems to be regular, impulse-free, and singular H∞ finite-time boundedness. An algorithm is built to solve the conditions in the criteria. Two simulation examples are presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed methods.
