Abstract

The phase transition temperature in lattice QCD with two flavors is estimated in physical units, taking Wilson fermions as quarks. Although the estimated value differs significantly from that with staggered fermions, if we properly compare the estimate to the results of quenched QCD, the dynamical quarks lower the T c relative to pure gauge theory in accord with the results for staggered fermions. Possible origins for the discrepancy are also discussed.
