Finite size effects for the non-interacting Fermi system at finite temperature and finite density

Abstract

From the euclidean form of the partition function for a non-interaction dense Fermi system placed on a finite lattice we evaluate its energy density and particle density, using different forms of lattice action. Comparing them with the corresponding well-known results in the continuum, we obtain a measure of finite lattice size effects.
