Abstract
Finite range corrections in two-nueleon transfer reactions of the type (t, p) or ( 3He, p) are investigated by means of local WKB theory. We use a more complete form for the transition potential than that used in previous papers on this subject. A method convenient for practical calculations is developed and results for the reactions 40Cs(t, p) 42Ca. and 58Ni(p, t) 56Ni are presented. Finite range effects are found to be substantial.
