Abstract
Field theories with N = 2 extended supersymmetry are ultra-violet finite if the one loop contribution to the charge renormalisation vanishes. This implies that the quadratic Casimir eigenvalue of the adjoint representation equal the sums of the Dynkin indices of various representations comprising the matter hypermultiplets. Representations of all the classical groups satisfying this criterion are given.
