Abstract
The valve train is an important part of the diesel engine. The intake valve spring is a key part of the valve train and its performance directly affects the work performance of valve train. The performance simulation analysis of the intake valve spring has important guiding significance for the development of the intake valve. The intake valve spring of a new type diesel engine is taken as the research object in this paper. The static and modal finite element analysis is carried out according to the preliminary structure design. The simulation results show that the stress and deformation of intake valve spring can meet the design requirements under the condition of pre-tightening force, maximum working load and maximum deformation. The natural frequency of the intake valve spring is much larger than the working frequency and the resonance will not occur in working condition. The simulation results provide a theoretical basis for the further improvement of the intake valve spring.
