Abstract

Crankshaft plays a very important role as the key parts in the automobile engine. The processing of shaft parts mainly adopts the machining method of turning. The service life of the machining tool directly affects the production cost. In the machining process of shaft parts, due to its poor rigidity, it is easy to cause machining deformation, so it is of great significance to control the machining deformation of parts. In this paper, the Advantedge simulation software is used to establish the finite element model of tool wear and cutting process with nodular cast iron crankshaft parts as the research object, and the tool wear and machining deformation of shaft parts are studied respectively.
