Abstract

When the robot is performing the cleaning operation of the charged with dry ice, it is necessary to ensure the safety of the working tools and equipment. The dry ice cleaning tool is mostly made of insulating materials, but due to strength and dry ice temperature, the spray guns of the dry ice cleaning tool is made of aluminum alloy. When the robot carries a dry ice cleaning tool into a high voltage environment, it would have an impact on the high voltage environment in the substation. The busbar in the substation is above the insulator, and the upper of the post insulator is connected to high voltage, so its voltage distribution in the field strength distribution has the greatest impact on the dry ice cleaning tool. The voltage distribution and field strength distribution of the pillar insulator and the dry ice cleaning tool are calculated by the finite element method in combination with the working conditions at the highest voltage position in the paper. The safe working distance of the dry ice cleaning tool is analyzed based on the numerical simulation results and the field strength under uneven air.
