Abstract
This paper presents a reinforced concrete model for nonlinear finite element analysis. The model performs the nonlinear behaviors of both concrete and reinforcement steel in each element. The effects of concrete cracking, tension stiffening and dowel action are also considered in the new model. Numerical results, in comparison with experimental data, are presented.
