Abstract
In the paper circular transducers with axially-symmetric vibrational profiles were considered. Analytical formulas for the impulse response function h(X,t) for circular transducers and vibration velocity profiles approximated by the linear polynomials on the finite element (annulus) were established. Moreover, similar formulas were obtained for rectangular transducers and linear approximation of the vibrational velocity on the finite element (triangle). These formulas enable accurate calculations of acoustic field distributions in near and far-field respectively. Calculated profiles of an acoustic field were compared with the experimental data. An efficient (coupling) between the calculations of vibrational velocity profiles and the corresponding acoustic field distributions was established.
