Abstract

The steel-concrete hybrid structure is a new special industrial structure in large thermal power plants. It is composed of a spatial steel truss and steel-concrete tubular columns. Its stiffness and mass is highly non-uniform at vertical direction. Its mechanical behaviors are complicated. There aren’ t any codes relating to these structures in China, and even there are few references on them until now. A model on the steel-concrete hybrid structure is established with finite element analysis software SAP2000 to study its mechanical behaviors. The structural dynamic behaviors are studied. Results show that its vibration mode is complicated, and its torsion response is obvious. The structural internal force and displacement under dead load, live load, snow load, wind load, seismic load and composite loads is analyzed, its stress ratio is studied. Results show that vertical displacement and internal force on the structural cantilever is larger, the composition of dead load, live load, snow load and wind load is the worst to the structure, few members stress ration is larger. Some advice is presented based on the results.
