Abstract

Based on extended state observer (ESO), a robust finite control set model predictive control (FCS-MPC) strategy is proposed for permanent-magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) system. In order to reduce the influence of parametric uncertainties and unmodeled dynamics, an ESO is proposed to estimate the total disturbances in the system, and the estimated values are added to the FCS-MPC controller to compensate the prediction errors. The feasibility of the strategy is introduced in this paper and the simulation results illustrate that the proposed strategy possesses better steady-state performance under parameters mismatch.
