Abstract

The full spectral complex of optical functions of the 6H-SiC polytype was determined in the energy range 0–35 eV. Spectra of e2(E), –Im e–1, and –Im (1 + e)–1 were deconvoluted into 15 simple bands, the main parameters of which, e.g., the energy maxima and oscillator strengths, were established. The calculations were based on the experimental reflectance spectrum and used the Kramers–Kronig relation and an improved nonparametric method of Argand diagrams.
