Abstract

This paper proposes a new fine quick servo system that considers the saturation of voltage and current for interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM) to achieve a stable current response to inverter voltage saturation. The proposed method gives priority to the d-axis voltage to avoid the d-axis voltage saturation. Moreover, the proposed system has a q-axis PI current controller to consider the q axis voltage saturation. Therefore, the proposed system prevents oscillatory current responses caused by the windup phenomenon in current controllers. The proposed system achieves stable speed and torque responses through the stable current response. The experimental results confirm the effectiveness of the proposed servo system.
