Abstract

AbstractBenxi gas reservoir in the west of Zizhou, Ordos Basin is deposited in transitional facies between sea and land. Benxi gas reservoir is an important development layer for gas well production. The drilling rate of effective reservoir in Benxi Formation is 62.3%, and the average thickness is 4.3 M. Benxi gas reservoir has the characteristics of limited sand body development scale, local gas enrichment and high gas well production. Through the study of sedimentary microfacies, fine description of small sand bodies, analysis of reservoir characteristics, comprehensive gas production capacity of gas wells, thickness of Benxi Coal Measures and contact relationship between Jinci and pangou sandstones. The results show that: the high production of gas well is affected by many factors, the coal measure source rock is the basis of gas source, the contact relationship between source rock and sand body is an important way of reservoir formation, the physical property of reservoir determines the gas production capacity of gas well, and the scale of sand body controls the gas production and stable production period of gas well. The goal of the achievement is to improve the drilling rate of Benxi reservoir, realize the continuous production increase of single well, implement the production target area, and promote the benefit development of Benxi gas reservoir.
