Abstract
AbstractBackgroundPatient v.Voice in clinical guidelines has become a standard practice in medical and care community.MethodFocus groups (online) were held with members of the IPA work group on Agitation and Dementia with early stage advisory groups to Alzheimer’s Associations and family caregivers.ResultLanguage about agitation was tested, refined, clarified in the overalL IPA guidelines. Many early stage persons also voiced strong opinions about non pharmacological treatments as preferred.ConclusionOur work group and documents were enhanced by taking time for consitituency consultation.
