Abstract

Implementing The INACSL Standards of Best Practice: Simulation℠ is essential to ensure quality simulation-based learning. Despite their importance, novice simulation educators may be overwhelmed when approaching the standards. The Finding Your Way Guide℠ is a web-based and interactive guide to introduce novices to implementing the standards. It identifies a starting point and provides learning activities and resources to support the implementation of the standards. Benner’s Novice to Expert provides the theoretical framework for the guide. The guide was developed based on expert experience, as well as relevant literature. Peer review informed the development process.
