Abstract

Motye came back from Buenos Aires to the small towns in southwestern Pennsylvania in 1934. He found jobs in the following years in several towns: Uniontown, Brownsville, and then Fredericktown, Pennsylvania. I figure that during those years, from 1922 to the end of the 1930’s, some 18 years, he moved at least a dozen times. But now, back in a small town in Pennsylvania with a job in a furniture store in Fredericktown, he began to settle in.
