Abstract
In the power grid company, the voltage transformers are the very important devices. The power usage in certain areas will be not stable when the transformers are not enough. In this paper, we try to find the overwhelming transformers by analyzing the power usage data. We find a series of impact factors and collect the related data, and then cluster the data into categories with the optimized clustering method, that is, the k-means++. The experiment studies show our method is effective to detect the overwhelming transformers.
