Abstract
AGENCY OVERVIEWAgency Overview: Latino Family Services Organization (LFSO) is a small community-based organization based in Southern California that is dedicated to supporting the development of healthy families and neighborhoods. With its core staff of three, LFSO’s strategic vision is to improve the quality of life for Rosedale residents, its main geographic service area, through primarily serving undocumented Latino families. LFSO engages in community development projects and programs that promote civic action and engagement, community economic and human development, educational improvement, community safety, and cultural awareness. Specific programming includes free English-language courses for adults, inter-generational Latinx immigrant leadership development programming, financial literacy courses, community computer access, and numerous annually held multi-cultural events providing free lunches, groceries, and other basic needs assistance.
