Abstract

A significant impact has been made by COVID-19 on the higher education system around the world. A model-based Situation Analysis can support the complex and varied task of guiding academic institutions in India through these terrible diseases. Using earlier research for more precision, this paper examines the pandemic's long- and short-term consequences on the viability and financial health of Indian academic institutions. We identify the several configurations of pandemic mitigation policies that can have unpredictably adverse consequences on institutions' financial standing. Combining six distinct COVID-19 effects sections and packets, we find that the bad effects can spread far through the collages due to the causal difficulty, reactions, and postponements in the framework. The paper came to the conclusion that India's higher education system needs new, resilient economic models that are sustainable.
