Abstract
In this paper the main results obtained by the MACRO experiment are described: results on atmospheric neutrino oscillations, high energy muon neutrino astronomy, final stringent upper limits on GUT magnetic monopoles and nuclearites, searches for WIMPs, search for v e bursts from galactic stellar gravitational collapses, studies of the primary cosmic rays average composition at knee energies and of the penetrating high energy atmospheric muons.
